Is Joppatowne worth it salary-wise?

OK so I'm a 53-year-old restaurant manager and Rent is about $1,600/month for a decent place. Worth the trade-offs?

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in East area are excellent. Kids love it here.
