Top 5 things I love about Juana Díaz zona urbana

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 11 months ago and Median household income is $19,075, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 8,031 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Atlanta about 5 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are stable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
