Living in Jupiter -the reality

OK so I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $555,500, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Jupiter sits at 176.4 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
