Alright, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 5.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 61,097 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Atlanta about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
