Is Kalamazoo walkable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and It's a a smaller city city with about 73,132 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Italian places. the quality of life is solid.
