My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $59,183 in Kansas City. Crime rate is something to consider — Kansas City sits at 710.9 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 155K people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to.
