Is Kansas City walkable?

I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,186 for rent here. It's a a major city city with about 508K people. Homes are going for about $227,000 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'm a accountant and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
