Planning a move to Kapaa -neighborhoods?
Anyone else feel this way? I work in education and Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 10,886, Kapaa is a small town. Homes are going for about $821,500 on average. Poverty rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.
