Career opportunities in Kapolei, HI

Longtime lurker here, I work in manufacturing and Rent is about $2,507/month for a decent place. Median household income is $129,260, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $2,507 for rent here. With a population of 23,033, Kapolei is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Bought a house here in 2016 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much established but now it's surprisingly good.
