Anyone else love living in Kasson?

Curious what people think. I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $264,500, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,066 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 6,964 people. Average temperature is around 43--F, so bundle up in winter. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Boring for young people
- Chain restaurants dominate
What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
