Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $58,269 in Kaufman. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The school system is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in East area are improving. Kids love it here.
