Curious what people think. I'm single, late 40s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Kaufman sits at 224.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $195,900 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Cheers. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
