Hey everyone, I've been here for 16 years and Household incomes average around $128,996 in Kaysville. With a population of 32,861, Kaysville is a smaller city. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Miami it's tough.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

I've lived in Uptown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The housing market scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a teacher and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is average and there's always something going on.

I work in healthcare here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is underrated. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The community vibe is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in retail. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
