Job hunting in Kearney -tips?

Homes are going for about $235,800 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? I work in engineering here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is pretty good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Maple Ridge. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
