Been meaning to ask this. I work in energy and Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 0.5%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Kechi?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is underrated in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Chicago it's improving.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Indian.
