Anyone work in healthcare in Keizer?

Hi all, Been living here since 2010. It's a a smaller city city with about 39,013 people. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,375/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $396,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to San Diego it's decent.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
