I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The community vibe is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a contractor and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from New York about 15 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is solid.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 8 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
