How are the schools in Ken Caryl?

Hey, I've been here for 4 years and Homes are going for about $565,700 on average. Median household income is $116,838, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience? TIA! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Seattle about 14 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:

- Cost of living is very reasonable

- Active local events and festivals

- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:

- Traffic during rush hour is rough

- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is average.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. No regrets on my end..
