Been meaning to ask this. Median household income is $116,838, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.
