Top 5 things I love about Ken Caryl

Alright, The median home value here is around $565,700, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 33,407 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in construction. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
