Kendale Lakes housing prices -when will it stop?

I'm single, late 20s, and You can expect to pay around $1,863 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $69,150, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 9.0%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? TIA! The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Baltimore about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
