Job market in Kendall — what industries are hiring?

I'm in government and considering a move to Kendall, FL. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 2.1% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 6/10.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Downtown. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Coming from Seattle, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

Respectfully disagree about the cost of living assessment. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.
