The good and bad of living in Kendall

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Kendall sits at 83.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $83,664 in Kendall. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $516,900, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Good job market
- Low crime in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events

Cons:
- High property taxes
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Not enough green space
What would you do? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
