What's it really like living in Kendall?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,808/month for a decent place. Median household income is $83,664, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 78,527, Kendall is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely challenging and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Uptown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Can feel isolated.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
