Kenmore housing prices -when will it stop?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 4.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $869,800, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Kenmore sits at 76.8 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,944 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries
- The public transit scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
