Rent in Kennebunkport getting crazy

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and With a population of 1,450, Kennebunkport is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
