Is Kenner worth it salary-wise?

Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and Median household income is $64,099, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,129 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What do you all think?

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great seafood places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
