First time home buyer in Kennesaw

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 47-year-old graphic designer and Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 33,627, Kennesaw is a smaller city. Median household income is $79,759, which feels about average for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Hope this helps!.

Came here for school and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The pet-friendliness is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
