Weekend activities in Kennett Square?

Hey everyone, Just moved here 15 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Kennett Square sits at 114.0 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 14 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Raleigh about 14 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited public transit options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Good luck with whatever you decide..
