Kennewick in the winter -how bad?

Longtime lurker here, We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Came here for weather and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The safety is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.
