Couple moving to Kent from out of state

Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 6.6%, which is concerning. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I'm a social worker and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Portland it's tough.
