I'm originally from Austin and It's a a smaller city city with about 27,190 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Kent sits at 100.8 per 100K. Homes are going for about $210,700 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
