Best coffee shops in Kentwood?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,205/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. With a population of 54,114, Kentwood is a smaller city. Median household income is $73,647, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $249,000 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? Cheers. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 13 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
