Working in Kenwood Estates -salaries realistic?

Hey folks, We have two kids and With a population of 1,403, Kenwood Estates is a small town. Household incomes average around $73,654 in Kenwood Estates. The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in retail. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in engineering. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..
