Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Moved here from Phoenix about 4 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to food scene but Hope this helps!.
