Alright, I'm a 25-year-old mechanic and The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $59,431 in Kerrville. Rent is about $1,075/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great sushi places. it's been a really good experience overall.
