Anyone regret moving to Kettle Falls?

Hi all, Homes are going for about $215,100 on average. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2021 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I'm a writer and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is excellent and there's always something going on.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
