Quick question about Kewanee

Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Kewanee sits at 445.8 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Kewanee? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Fairview area are decent. Kids love it here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The safety is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
