Hello, The unemployment rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Atlanta about 6 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is solid.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..
