Been living here since 2015. Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 7,159 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Nashville about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Uptown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- The food scene scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The dating scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
