Random thought, Rent is about $1,147/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The pet-friendliness is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is average in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value job market, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely average and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely excellent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.
