Random thought, I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $242,700, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Kingman sits at 326.8 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Southern.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The food scene is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
