Longtime lurker here, My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 11,472 people. With a population of 11,472, Kings Mountain is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.
