Day-to-day life in Kings Park, NY

Random thought, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 16,249 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I work in hospitality here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is challenging. Feel free to reach out with questions..
