I'm a college student here and With a population of 13,281, Kings Park West is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Kings Park West sits at 73.9 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
