Random thought, Crime rate is something to consider -Kings Point sits at 26.2 per 100K. The median home value here is around $1,917,200, which is pretty steep. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? Appreciate any input.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely average and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (The Heights) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much wild but now it's average.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.
