Rent vs buy in Kingsford -what makes sense?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $110,600 on average. Median household income is $61,108, which feels about average for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
