I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $203,000, which is actually reasonable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in South. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
