Been meaning to ask this. We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 16.6%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $203,000, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thanks! The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
