How is the nightlife in Kingston?

Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $65,413 in Kingston. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in North. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Nashville about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
